Last
years winners Sue Parody and Dyson Parody (1st ever Mother
and Son winners of the Mixed Pairs competition) yet again
this year reached the final.
Being 2-0 down in the first to 3 legs, Sue and Dyson managed
to pull it back to level terms.
The
last leg was well fought with all players having a chance
to throw for the match and claim the title.
Down to the outshot in the last leg, Dylan Duo missed 56
and this left Dyson Parody on an outshot of 121 where he
narrowingly missed the bull with a darts bounce out. Kayra
(Dylans Wife and doubles partner) also missed and this left
Sue Parody with a chance to claim the game, she scored 18
on her 1st dart and had two darts to kill of 32.
The
man of the moment Dylan Duo was not about to miss again
and he finished the game to take the title.
