JOE GOLDWIN

The Gibraltar Darts Association wish to pay homage and render tribute to the late Joe Goldwin R.I.P.

The GDA was founded on 4 Sept. 1956 by Joe, a Gibraltar Police Sgt. At the time; he amalgamated the Civilian and Military associations, being instrumental in combining both teams and players.

The Constitution and Rules were written by Mr. Goldwin, who was a real gentleman as well as an extraordinary first class player.

He was Gibraltar Singles Champion – 65/66, 71/72, 72/73, 73/74, 74/75, 81/82 as well as Doubles Champion for five seasons 72-75 and 76-78 and Trebles champion 82/83.

He led his club to six Championships during that very competitive period – 76 - 82; as well as Friendship Cups 80-84.

LUIS GUERRERO

The GDA wishes to extend our sympathy to the family of Luis Guerrero.

In darts he was known as "El Rata" and for many years he was pivotal for the development and growth of darts in Gibraltar.

He will sorely be missed.
